Hi! I’m Samantha — the owner of Braids by Samantha. I’m a home-based hairstylist located in Charlotte, NC (uptown area), specializing in knotless braids, twists, and protective styles. With a focus on healthy hair and attention to detail, I provide a peaceful, one-on-one experience tailored to make you feel confident and cared for. Whether it’s for a trip, event, or a fresh new look, I’m here to bring your vision to life. Bookings open the 3rd Sunday of every month at 8:00 PM ET for that month ONLY. Thank you for trusting me with your hair — I can’t wait to see you in my chair! REQUIREMENTS / POLICIES - The full address will be sent 24/hrs before your appointment via EMAIL. Please check your inbox (or spam folder if necessary), and read the email in its entirety prior to your appointment. - Guest parking is STRICTLY enforced. Please park ONLY in designated guest parking spaces located at the back of the parking lot, clearly marked with "Guest Parking" signs. Failure to follow parking instructions may result in your vehicle being towed. - Hair IS provided with your service. - A NON-refundable deposit is required for all services. - Hair must be clean, detangled & blow-dried from root to end. If a comb cannot easily glide through your hair, a $10 blow-dry fee will be added to your service. - Thick or long hair? Add the *FREE* “Thick/Long Hair Add-On” at booking to allow extra time — failure to do so WILL result in a fee added or potential reschedule. - NO same-day style changes. Be SURE about the style you’re booking before you book, please. - Weekend appointments are available per request, for a fee ($75) as well as week day afterhours ($50). - No extra guests, unless for safety — limit 1, and must be confirmed. - Sick or have flu like symptoms? Please cancel your appointment. - Refer to our cancellation policy for information regarding timing, cancellations and no-call, no-shows.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Please arrive ON TIME. 10 min late = $15 late fee. 15+ min late w/o notice = cancellation & deposit lost. - Deposits are non-refundable. - ONE reschedule is permitted per appointment and must be rescheduled within the same month as the original appointment. After one reschedule, a new deposit will be required to make any additional changes. Appointments cannot be transferred to a future booking month. - Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. - Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the total service booked. - Same-day cancellation will be charged 75%. A no-call/no-show WILL BE CHARGED 100%. Life happens. Please communicate with me as soon as possible in the event of an emergency or sudden illness.
